I am so damn tired. Yesterday 1.45am I drove to meet Jie fu at Hougang and followed him to Ah bee’s workshop in Ubi. I wanted them to check out my tortilla so since he came back to work, we jus sent tortilla in for a check up.
There had been a screeching sound and deep engine sound. Hey, ah ber is still quite good one ok, dun think I am normal lady driver blur blur dunno bout her own car ok…. I told Ah bee I suspected the timing belt got problems and aircon might have problem cos the centre ones dun have much wind….
So we opened up tortilla to take a look. 1st, his bonnet was opened. ALAS…. there was really a serious problem….. the air inlet hose was broken…. the hose is bigger than my fist and the deep engine sound was caused by tat. Damn….
Ah bee checked out tortilla after hanging him up and the total damage was SERIOUS. Tortilla is a very old man and there are many things that needed to be changed or replaced. Ah bee asked me to go back to the car dealer…. but wait long long lor, if they should do anything….. then he asked why I didnt ask someone to go with me to see the car before buying it….
I pointed to his best friend jie fu and said he was there….. then jie fu kena scolded lor….. cos he went with me and can still get the car in such shitty condition lor….. and best thing, jie fu’s only excuse is, I dun have a torchlight…. ok lor…. you win….. even though my HP has very bright flashlight lor….. you didnt even ask lor….. I was bit pissed off cos I tot he was my friend so he should look out for me…..
Ah bee scolded him like a few times la….. so I jus dun blame jie fu la. Cos everything is wat I asked for ma…. no point blaming him since damage is done…. lucky for you ah ber is in good mood even though I didnt sleep a wink ok….. So ah bee listed out a long list of the things I needed to change and replace and ask me to consider…. I seriously considered doing most of them cos I know that tortilla needed to be fixed up. We guessed the total damage should be 2-3k…. wonderful rite jie fu….. ah bee said jie fu better give me a treat to appease me….. dun need la….. wat are friends for? Jus send the total bill to jie fu for me ok, ah bee…. thanks alot for paying the total damage….
Ah ber finally slept at 4.30am this morn and… weather been raining and cold so ah ber cancelled all the classes at 7am….. and I finally woke up at 2pm after sleeping like a PIGGY…… going to badminton then celebrating daddy’s day later with my daddy…. bringing junior to see his daddy and his gong gong to kiss them happy daddy’s day….
