Finally got personal instructor for me 290307

Yippee…Later 2.30pm I finally got an instructor to teach me how to be a Professional Swimming Coach already. Dun need to be so sneaky already…..Going for my 1st lesson today at Riverview Condo at Sengkang. Meeting Mr Andrew who is going to be my coach…..Hahahaha….YEAH….

Ah ber the swimming coach 280307

Yesterday was my 1st class as a swimming coach. Rina was there to give me moral support and give me some tips on how to be a better swimming coach. Thanks mummy.

I spent my whole day earlier on shopping to de-stress cos I was quite nervous. And bought LOTS OF THINGS ok…few bags plus 1 BIG BIG bag…..sigh…..bo bian….when I stress i go shopping one….typical gal…..I even played 3 rounds of mahjong to destress and relax, jus 1 hour before my lesson….hahahaha…..cool and calm and steady rite….

Yesterday was 2 friends who are 21 this year. 1 malay and 1 indian muslim. They were quite nervous in the water and I was very nervous too but lucky ah ber kept her calm and was quite professional….hahahahaha…..

The lesson went quite well and ah ber was quite tired. And after the lesson, I met up with my client whose house I sold and bought. Then me and rina went shopping (BUY AGAIN) and then I sent her back and had some food before I went back to eunos….

Today I had another lesson at a private condo in orchard….so cool rite…..I had been to this condo before so I was very familiar with it….didnt expect the last time I came to see houses, this time to swim in its pool….so cool….

Today’s student is an indian middle age lady….Shes quite nice and she requested to have swimming lessons twice a week….which is good for me…..heehee…..means I am good la…..hahahahahahah…..

Tomorrow is 2 hours session. A bit worried cos this gal want to learn fast fast one….and ah ber always slow and steady…..so must work hard……..

And I went shopping again today with my aunty….ai yo….spend so much leh…..must cut costs leh,….

The weekend update 270307

On Sat after going to Changi Village with my aunts and mum and Junior, I sent them home at 9plus then I went to pick Ms Jesslyn, Ms Sotong and Ms Lena and went pubbing with them. We went clarke quay supposedly to go Este.

But we were disappointed when we saw tat Este was closed and decided to go to the pub next door to este. But we couldn’t find the entrance. SO we spent 5mins looking for the entrance at the other side of the building. And when we got there, we were sitted comfortably when we realised tat the singer was thai and he was singing in thai and the other gal was singing in english, and we decided tat it was not our cup of tea and left without drinking.

So the 4 of us were walking around clarke quay looking for something suitable for us to go have a drink and enjoy the music and DANCE. Clinic, barfly, MOS, Double O, Devils Bar, zouk, velvet, attiqar popped up. Actually I wanted to go Double O cos the drinks are potent and cheap. So actually we were on our way to get the car when Ms kerin mei called me saying she in cab and where to go.

Since devils bar is more convenient and less queue, we decided to go there even though its a bit steep in drinks….

So we met kerin mei at the entrance and went we ended up at devils bar and amazingly, there was no crowd at all. Really so pathetic that I nearly wan to walk out but was craving for a beer so I sat down la. Lucky got kerin mei cos she jio us play 7-up and 5-10 and made things less boring lor. If not for her i think i’ll fall asleep liao.

So we each had our 1st drink – Jess had vodka coke, sotong had vodka orange, Lena had vodka orange, kerin mei had vodka cranberry and me also had vodka cranberry. After tat, Lena Da Jie ordered 1 jug of Apricot brandy and later on, a jug of tiger beer. Yummy…..

After satisfying our thirst, we wanted to satisfy our cravings for FOOD. And dunno which gong gong one say go eat porriage. And TeoChew porriage somemore and GEYLANG somemore. So for the 2nd conservative day, I ended up in geylang AGAIN lor.

And the best thing is, I wear my party wear, LOOK LIKE A MAMASAN with 4 xiao jie behind me looking for lobangs leh…..actually I am not the mamasan. Ms Lena Da Jie is the mamasan. She used to have a few gals under her before…..wait i find the photo I upload to show you….

So we ate teochew porriage and then I brought the gals especially Ms sotong cos she nv been to geylang before, to see the chicken coops. And also to find out the best spot for her to stand to take lobangs in future….

After tat, we went home at around 4plus am……

On sun, I woke up at 8.30 am to get junior ready for his Tail Wagging marathon at Stadium Green. Suppose to pick up lena, wendy and kerin. But my mistake, cos i sms Ms wendy too late and she always sleep in on sundays so I missed her…..and Ms kerin was the 1st one who answer my sms HALF AN HOUR LATER LOR cos she making big business ah……then I picked her up and lena da jie and coco and we went to stadium to enrol junior.

There was no parking and lucky lena da jie go enrol junior 1st or else he wun be in the competition liao. The registration ended at 11.30am and I reached the stadium at 11.28am lor….Haahahha lucky Junior you got a nice godma.

Then at 11.45am I had to go for the briefing and at 12noon, the competition started. Junior was the 5th batch and he got strong competitors and although he did wag his tail, his wagging was not consistent so he didnt get into the semi-finals. But he attracted lots of attention cos the MC tot he was enrolled into the wrong competition. The MC tot he should be enrolled in the 100m hamster dash. And we cracked a joke saying he was a mixed breed of hamster and dog so he can enrol in both competitions. Anyway I’m proud of Junior cos although he was the smallest dog enrolled in the tail wagging marathon tat day, he still did his best and didnt appear to be a scardy cat and he still managed to wag his tail when mummy called him and although he was a little nervous, he didnt show it and trusted in me when I brought him on stage. So proud of my baby boy…

Daddy Dino Senior came to support his son also and after walking around for a while, we decided to go have lunch. We picked up Ms wendy and went to Simei Eastpoint to have lunch at burger king. Yummy, I wuv burger king….Jie fu brought brandy there to join us and after lunch we went to have the furkid’s nails cut and junior’s smelly ears cleaned. Heehee.

After that, I enrolled Junior for swimming lessons given by his swimming coach mummy which happens to be me. A pity I can teach others how to swim but my own son struggles in the water…

After pet movers and U petgamart, I sent junior home and went badminton with Ms kerin mei and Ms wendy. Another 1st time for Ms Kerin Mei…..hahahahah…..so she got to know more handsome guys….. LIKE MR IVAN……

And after 2 hours of badminton, we went to have dessert at the nearby macpherson market and we decided to eat some good food so we called Lena da jie to ask if she wan to go chomp chomp. But alas, chomp chomp fully booked, no place for us so we went to macpherson Jackson market to have seafood again…..hahahahah….

We had hum, chicken wings, fried oyster and egg, Ngoh Hiang, vegetables, Sotong…..and it wasn’t very fantastic la, but the food were all gone lor….heehee….

Then on the way to send wendy back, my phone rang and it was rina who asked if we wanted to go JB cos jakes was bored. So we dropped off Ms Kerin and Ms wendy and me and ms lena went to JB with rina and jakes. We went to get PC games for jakes’ new lappy but all closed already so we went to do bit a shopping at Danga Bay and we ate at the clock tower.

And me and Lena da jie saw hyatt and we decided that we will come back one day and book a hotel room there…..hahahahah….

So we had Sotong again, kai lan, tom yam soup, and sting ray…..and desserts and drinks…..hahhahaha…How to slim down like tat? Anyway this year I dun intend to diet cos its piggy year…..hahahahha…..to diet is to be disrespectful to ms piggy…..hahhahaa…

So ended up going back to bradel at 3am and i talked to rina in bed till around 4.30 where we both drifted off to lala land and I woke up at 6.30am to send jakes to camp and then went home at 8.30am to sleep till 10.30 and went to the new Giant at Tampines with Pa, Daphne, D, Mummy and the 3 children.

Then we dropped pa and daphne and the children back at bradel and we went to tekka and sim lim where I got my aunty her phone and got more stuff and I sent them back to bradel before going to meet kenji and his family and friends for dinner cos his dad’s birthday. Met wendy and we ate the same chilli crap last week but yesterday’s one not as spicy as last week. The beehoon wrapped in egg is good, the yam ring is good, the crabs are good, the vegetable so so only, the thai chicken is good……total damage is $128/- hahahahaha…. its at eunos cresent Blk 1 if anyone wan to give me a treat there I dun mind bringing you there ok…..

Then ah ber came home and slept around 1am then woke up now to write blog….sianz, later I have to go out get some stationery and swimming stuff…..and then i gotta go coach liao…..and I’m nervous and excited and worried and stress and gan cheong…hahhahah….worried I screw things up and embarass myself heehee….lucky mummy going with me…..

Changi Village 240307

Tired. Jus came back from dinner with my aunts and mum and Junior. Went to Changi Tekong Restaurant for dinner. We used to go to this place last time when mama was still around. Mama is my paternal grandmother. She used to like going to have seafood there with us. Went there today to have chilli crabs with man tou, kai lan, coin beancurd, Hor Fun, prawns with herbs. nice food, costs about $96 for the 5 of us.

Junior was the centre of attraction as usual. But today he’s a bit mad. He is the smallest dog there in Changi but he behaved like he’s the king there. He barked at ALL the dogs walking and mind you, we saw 2 beagles and 1 bulldog ok….and 5 cats and he growled at the cats and barked at ALL the dogs like he is the boss….the other dogs dun even dare to walk near him….think junior’s a spoilt brat….

After dinner we walked the board walk all the way to the chalets and walked back again…..tired….think i lack of exercise tat’s why walk abit liao feel tired…

Hunan Food 240307

Intro to you Hunan Food (can be found on the 3rd floor of Novena Square, currently known at Velocity). Prices are a little steep but the food is quite nice, especially those who appreciate spicy food. You can order the set lunches/set dinners or ala carte…..

Dessert – Almond milk with gingko nuts and jelly.
Prawns **highly recommended** – cooked with their hunan chilli.

Kong bah **highly recommended** – very soft and yummy.
Kong Bah with Man tou – Great!!!!
Sharksfin **highly recommended** – can eat the sharksfin slices lor…..
Their appetiser – Pao chai (pickled vegetables) & cold pork **highly recommended** cos very very very nice…
Fried balls – inside got parsley and fish maw – I dun like cos I HATE PARSLEY…..for those who love parsley – this is for you, the parsley is not very strong, jus nice, crunchy and crispy but I JUS HATE PARSLEY lor….

And I forgot to take a few more dishes cos I busy eating heehee….

KTV outing 240307

Guess my blog song is MAD cos it always disappears. Its ok. Jus read the lyrics can liao.

Yesterday went to have steamboat dinner at Katong with Ms Lena and Ms Shirley. Think the waiter and waitres still the same – scared of us cos we ordered many many. After dinner, we were debating where to go and finally we ended up at this KTV near to bugis (on Bali Lane) where it is operated by malays. Yes. Malays. Cool rite?

Its called the Family Karaoke and the sound system is fantastic. The titbits are very “in” too. They have mashmallow dipped in chocolate, Wang Wang and another potato chip tat I liked very much.

So the 3 of us ROLE-PLAYED in the room ok….and Lena and shirley got a bit mad la….kept singing the very retro songs and i jus sat in the director’s chair to direct wat songs I wanted to sing. I dun need to touch the remote at all cos my good friend lena knows wat songs I wan to sing….hahahaha….and everyone sang sad songs cos everyone FEELING SO SAD LOR…..until ms kerin she sang her “mouse and tiger song”

And Ms lena stopped my song again lor…..and always interrupt my photo taking lor….see the photos then you know liao…

The guy owner is very handsome and his wife is very pretty. Envious lor…..and its not very ex….3 hours of KTV session only $57/-. Cheap rite. This is gonna be my fav joint from now on. I think mummy will like this place too cos its very cosy, feels like singing in ur own living room….I wuv this place….

But one setback – no alcohol and no smoking….so uncle wun like to go la….

After that at 12.30am, all of us got no idea where else to go so Ah ber jie drove all of us down to Geylang to sell. No No No No No, not sell me, only sell the passengers only. You cant sell the driver rite? Hahaha…..

Cos its my kerin mei’s 1st time again and it seemed some of her 1st time is by bad influence (**pointing at Lena**)

We locked the doors and drove thru the lanes….very daring hor? Tat is wat you get when you put 3 mad chicks together lor…..and Ah ber jie finally show off some of her driving skills by making Ms Lena roll from the left side of the car to the rite side of the car while drifting lor….**hao Lian**

Then after finishing the lanes, we went to Changi Village to see Ah guas lor….hahahah….We very happening hor….hiak hiak hiak hiak…..So ended up sending them back ard 2plus, I came back home and couldnt sleep cos I believe I am an owl already…..so I slept only at 4am and later I going out again….heehee

Its great to have my wings back…..**I meant the car**

Pets Fun Fair Day (Organised by CATS)
Date: 25th March 2007.
Time: 10am to 5pm
Venue: Stadium Green (next to Indoor stadium)

Highlights: Tail Wagging Competition, Highest Jumper competition, Obstacles race, hamster dash 1m and many more.

Junior is enrolled in the Tail Wagging Competition, registration is from 11 to 11.30am. Competition starts at 12pm to 1pm. Pls be there to give him your support. Maybe he see you will wag his tail harder and longer….heehee…..

Mahjong outing 230307

Finally finished my mahjong game….but couldn’t sleep at 1am so I decided to blog about it…

I was supposed to meet Kerin for dinner at 6.30pm at Eunos MRT for dinner. Ended up, I was late….(so sorry kerin mei)….but on the good side, Kenji managed to make it back eariler from work and he also managed to bring Wendy who went to site together with him lor….

Then the 4 of us settled down to have dinner near the 7-11 store kopi shop at Eunos. Very worth it dinner lor. Only $66.80 for 4 of us, including chilli crab with buns, Kai Lan, Ee mee, Fish soup (with XO). Sorry I too busy eating so didnt take photos cos when ah ber jie eat crabs, it takes forever to finish lor….cos I very ladylike ma (OK, DO NOT PUKE)….

Lena was supposed to join us but last min couldn’t make it. So me and kerin and Wendywent to kenji’s place to play mahjong with kenji’s mum. And we were all very happy. Seems like the whole nite wat we only do it to LAUGH lor….thanks to kerin mei.

And she too happy till she “Xiao Xiang Gong” (playing with only 12tiles) and “Da Xiang Gong” (playing with 14 tiles) once each lor…lucky she never kena BAO lor….And she thinks she practiced 2 days in the chalet wan to come challenge Ah ber jie lor…..

Anyway, we all laughed and laughed and laughed lor…..and make ah ber jie lost her “yi tai” (posture) and all the “tamade” and “wa lan” and ….etc come out of her mouth lor……Kerin mei, you better watch out ok…..I play mahjong so many times with so many people but only you can make me do this kind of thing ok…..1st time given to you again….sigh… “Wo de Ming hao ku ah….”

And I opening up badminton to my readers who wan to join our TFT on our weekly badminton outings. Pls officially sign up with me if you wan to come along on every 1-3 sundays of each month.
